I really enjoyed the hotel, it was spotless with really helpful and patient staff from the front desk staff to doorman. Also, location was nice, just 5 minutes walk from a historic theater.

hotel is located two blocks from the main street, in front of Morazán Park, where several bus and taxi lines run. means that it is close to several points of tourist interest in San José. At night and on Sundays, as there is not much activity, we did not feel completely at ease, when, at various times, they approached us to ask for money. However, if it is necessary to go out, there are taxis at the door of the hotel constantly. We took a taxi there and there were no problems. room complied with the hired characteristics. services corresponded to what was shown on the website. bed was very comfortable, nice desk and a table. Big flat screen TV and cable that worked perfectly. There was a coffee maker available and welcome coffee, etc. It was all very clean and had a very nice view of the city. It has a small gym that is very good and a covered swimming pool. It would have been nice if the atmosphere and water in the pool were warmer. Anyway, it is a very nice space with several lounge chairs and towels available, can be enjoyed just the same. hotel has a casino, bar and two restaurants. We ate at the restaurants (one on the ground floor and other on the 17th floor). In both the food was very good and with a very good attention. In the second one, it is a little more expensive, not too much, if we take into account that it is located on the top floor with a nice view of the whole city. In short, at that price, it's a super recommendable hotel and if we go back to San Jose, we would come back!
In general the attention was good, only that one of the security people made us feel a little uncomfortable, since every time we entered, he kept looking at us and even, in one opportunity, he seemed to follow us to the floor we were on, we suppose to make sure that we were really guests of the hotel, since we found him there inspecting the corridor. Maybe we didn't have the "look" that he assumes for hotel guests. Beyond this situation, we had a nice stay at the hotel, at a good price (which includes a buffet breakfast, very varied) and with good facilities. Among the suggestions, we could point out: the system to operate the shower was not very practical when it came to regulating the water temperature. On the other hand, the way to access the refrigerator in the room requires enabling the card at the time of check-in, so it is a little uncomfortable if at another time, one changes his mind and wants to use it, since you have to contact the reception to enable it, since it is locked.

All the staff was easygoing and greeted us warmly. They helped us get a shuttle to the hotel. Our rooms were comfortable modern on the 5th floor-old decor, everything was perfect.

The property seemed spotless and the room was well-equipped. Booked a room with incredibly beautiful views. The staff were extremely helpful and very attentive people from the front desk staff to doorman. The restaurant was perfect for breakfast. I found the hotel's location comfortable, close to central avenue, most good eating places, and the cultural museum. The main shopping strip is also nearby.

We stayed only 1 night but found the cleaness of the hotel perfect and the room really comfortable. Location is just perfect, directly into one of the main roads in the city, with quite some restaurants and bars along the way. If we would have stayed longer I would have tried the gym and swimming pool for sure ..but we had to go.. next time then ;-)

I've stayed at this place before, and the staff is super helpful. The rooms have air conditioning, which is a big plus. The location is convenient since you can walk to El Morazan. The restaurant serves tasty breakfast 🍳.

Location good. Food good. Room clean and tidy.
Staff didn't speak English that much. It was difficult to pay for room service. Visitors are only allowed for a 70 dollar surcharge / night which is a bit embarrassing for all the three parties. VAT was a hidden cost. Internet was unusable on wireless, a bit better on the lead.
